# How to Participate

#### Before you start

You need:

* an active EarnBIT account
* completed identity verification (KYC). See KYC Verification
* a balance in one of the accepted payment currencies

#### Step by step

**1. Open Launchpad.** Go to **Launchpad** in the top menu, or <https://earnbit.com/launchpad>

**2. Choose a project.** Use the Active / Upcoming / Finished tabs and click **View details**.

**3. Read the project page.** It shows:

* the countdown timer and the current discount
* links to the project's documentation, website and social media
* a progress bar and the number of tokens you have already bought
* round details: dates, price, soft and hard cap, minimum and maximum allocation, accepted currencies
* the project description and its **vesting schedule**

**4. Buy tokens.** In the purchase panel on the right:

1. Choose a payment currency.
2. Enter the amount. The number of tokens is calculated automatically.
3. Check your **Purchase Booster** bonus (see Allocation System).
4. Enter a **promo code**, if you have one. Codes are shared from time to time in EarnBIT's official channels.
5. Review the total, agree to the Launchpad rules and click **Buy token**.

If your balance is empty you will see a **Deposit** button. You can also top up in advance at <https://earnbit.com/user/wallet/deposit>

**5. Track your balance.** Until the sale ends, your purchases appear under **Your balance** on the project page. You can buy more than once, up to the maximum allocation per participant.

**6. Receive your tokens.** After the sale, tokens are distributed according to the project's vesting schedule. See Vesting & Claims.
